Description about project/department:
CFO FCOE is an integrated business enabler that provides functional and cross-functional competence, capacity and service across the client for Communications, Finance and Control, People and Organisation, Safety, Security and Sustainability, Management support and administration, facility management, service management and real estate management. The department is part of SSU competence center, organized in sector climate and sustainability, where team members are supporting operative entities within Drilling and Operation where Equinor is operator. Environmental engineers contributes to secure compliance with environmental regulations, a good dialogue with environmental governments, strong environmental management and -performance, in close collaboration with asset management and other SSU-personnel supporting the same asset. Description about task and responsibilities:
Typical tasks may include: - Promote climate and environmental performance improvement in operations, and support asset management in reaching ambitious goals. - Enhance knowledge of environmental regulations, requirements and applicable standards relevant for the asset. - Support asset management in environmental permit follow up. - Develop authority applications, quality assure environmental accounting and report environmental data to the authorities. - Support and advice asset management in climate and environmental risk evaluations, and follow up risk as part of integrated risk management.
Competence Requirements:
Experienced in environmental management with discharge to sea and emission to air within Operations and/or Drilling in the Oil and Gas industry. Fluent in Norwegian language
