Contract period: ASAP until August 2026 with the prospect of an extension to the end of 2026
Location: Stavanger, sporadic offshore
Duties and responsibilities:
- Day-to-day follow-up of all operational activities and HSE activities on the rig, aligned with the operational needs for proactive and structured HSE work
- Follow up HSE in rig operations as part of the operations team onshore
- Ensure compliance with Company`s Management System
- Follow-up of incidents, investigations, audits, contact with authorities, HSE culture campaigns
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of HSE initiatives and program, including all leading and lagging HSE indicators to define HSE approach and focus going forward
- Follow up daily observations, trends and incident reports, perform trend analysis using leading indicators and capture lessons learned from the ongoing operation and across the industry
- Develop proactive strategies to improve One Team HSE performance, aligning focus areas and campaigns
- Participate in operations planning and to identify potential safety and environmental hazards and actions
- Align and define scope of work for offshore safety coaches – single point of contact
- Coordinate processes for investigation and follow up of same
- Follow up registration and closure of all HSE Synergi cases
- Evaluate trends and incidents across the industry, Havtil, experience transfer with other Operators and Contractors, and evaluate relevant experiences and initiatives for the operation/rig
- Co-ordinate the support from additional HSEQ discipline resources to ensure establishment of relevant HSEQ documentation, programs, plans and activities such as:
o HSE programs and HSE activity plans,
o Application for Consents and Application for Discharge
o Emergency preparedness (Bridging documents and Emergency Notification Flowcharts)
o Guidance on HSE incidents reporting and follow up of actions and status
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in an HSEQ discipline or other relevant education, lack of formal education can be compensated by relevant experience
Experience:
- Minimum 7 years of experience mainly within HSEQ or operations
- Operational experience is preferable
- Knowledge and understanding of offshore operations
- Good knowledge and understanding of Norwegian rules and regulations Experience in working with contractors/vendors
Note: the role will involve sporadic travel offshore, so the candidate must have the required training/certification to make these trips
