Location: Base location in Grimstad, until mobilization to Stord Yard during integration phase.
The Commissioning Engineer MEG EI&T is responsible for engaging and performing Completion and Commissioning activities related to the fabrication testing, documentation preparation and system testing of PWP MEG Re-Gen module.
This position is fully mobile with base location in Grimstad, until mobilization to Stord Yard during integration phase.
Position Purpose:
- Role to ensure completion and commissioning requirements of all PWP MEG systems meeting all client’s project and operational requirements, including verification and assurance.
- Responsible for implementing the commissioning certification and handover process according to Project Completion Strategy for relevant systems.
- Presence and Follow Up during MEG Module fabrication at supplier site.
- Supporting function to MEG System Responsible and Site Management with respect to line walks, site querying, installation method, etc.
- Follow the MEG Module and relevant systems transfer to Stord Yard, ensuring familiarization and system knowledge transfer across project phases
- Participate in ensuring the safe and efficient handover of relevant systems to the Asset Operations team upon completion of commissioning activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Overall Comm responsible for EIT scope on MEG module. Providing supervision, direction, and guidance with regards to:
- Execution of Commissioning activities assigned by the Comm System Lead on dedicated EIT systems
- Verify Construction Field installations are according to EIT design in collaboration with System Lead and Site Management
- Plan and facilitate for check-out/execution of EIT comm activities
- Act as discipline supervisor during Dynamic Commissioning activities of MEG module.
- According to good Alliance practice, ensure good communication between operation, maintenance, contractors, and suppliers
- Daily reporting to the Commissioning MEG System Lead regarding ongoing Commissioning activities
- Assist with the collection of documentation related to RFOC Hand-over according to the System Lead's instructions
- Contribute and advice related to Process input to overall Completion strategy and planning
- Manage related ATS and other resources providing services and supplying materials or equipment.
Provide guidance and direction to the Process Commissioning Team, contributing in:
- Witness contractor/supplier tests as necessary (FAT/SAT)
- Up on request, participate in preparation of relevant commissioning procedures.
- Implement the commissioning scope throughout relevant phases (Supplier site/Yard/Offshore)
- Contribute to a smooth transition from Project to Operations.
