Sr. Information Mgmt Specialist

Our client is seeking a skilled and proactive Information & Document Management Specialist to join the Data Management team. The team plays a key role in enabling efficient operations and supporting the company’s ambition to become a data-driven E&P organization.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing information and documentation processes in a large-scale field development project. You will ensure structured handling of documentation throughout its lifecycle, provide user support, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and execute activities for systematic information management from creation to disposal, including revision control, retention, and approval workflows.
• Manage correspondence and ensure proper categorization and traceability.
• Provide user-friendly guidance and support in processes and tools, including responding to requests for locating, updating, and organizing content.
• Act as superuser for system configuration in Pims, SharePoint, and Teams.
• Advise on lifecycle requirements for documents and content, including coordination with subcontractors and strategic partners.
• Monitor document usage and access, and ensure consistency across systems.
• Promote quality in document and content management and support automation initiatives.

• Higher education; relevant experience may compensate for formal education.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in document management within field development projects, preferably with operator experience.
• Solid understanding of regulatory requirements in the petroleum industry.

• Familiarity with data and information management frameworks and terminology.
• Understanding of the E&P value chain.
• Strong expertise in document management systems, preferably Pims.
• Superuser experience with Office 365 tools, especially Teams and SharePoint.
• Fluent in Norwegian and English, both written and spoken.
