About the project:
Yggdrasil is the largest ongoing development on the Norwegian Continental Shelf, opening up a mature area in the North Sea. The area includes the Hugin, Fulla, and Munin licence groups. The client is the operator, with Equinor and Orlen Upstream Norway as licence partners.
The development will be powered from shore, with grid connection in Samnanger, Vestland County – contributing to very low emissions from the area.
We are now looking for:
- 2 Work Preparation Engineers – Low Voltage (LV)
- 2 Work Preparation Engineers – Automation
These roles will be in close collaboration with the contractor.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare Work Packs for installation in Pims
- Collaborate closely with and support the contractor
- Provide discipline-specific input
- Act as a role model and driving force in HSSE, quality, and productivity
- Review safety aspects related to execution and assess the need for SJA
- Make decisions based on multidisciplinary thinking in line with the client’s project execution model (PEM)
- Review material needs and availability
Qualifications:
- Vocational education with trade certificate and minimum 5 years’ relevant experience
or
Minimum 10 years’ experience from the petroleum industry - Solid construction experience
- Knowledge and understanding of MC completion and construction processes
- Good command of English, both oral and written
- Familiarity with Pims CMS
